I was given lanterns that had brown plastic, paper bag looking covers to put out in front of our house for Christmas. However..... they were starting to look really shabby so between 9:30pm-12:30am, I gave them a make over-- all twenty of them. It wasn't hard, it wouldn't have taken me so long if i didn't have so many interruptions!! I'll get a close up tomorrow when I have better light. Now they look much better!! AND it looks like we have a runway for santa to know which house to land on!
oh and i also made these cards from scratch all by myself. I gave them to the sisters we weren't able to get a hold of last month to visit teach. not the best... but not too shabby considering i'm not very crafty...
Luminarias! Those are a NM tradition! They do over 10,000 every year! It's so pretty and so are yours! I like your cards too! I miss you doing my feet. Hope all's well other wise! MUAH
ReplyDeleteWe enjoy luminarias in San Antonio too. At the Riverwalk they do the real thing - candles in paper bags with sand in the bottom. I didn't put mine out this year. :( Nice looking cards. You do keep busy.
