Abby was watching "ni hao kai lan" today while I was making Chinese food. ...
And while Andrew and I were in the kitchen we heard her count very clearly to 3 in Chinese!!!! Andrew and I heard her say it, looked at each other in shock and said, wow!!! she can count to three in Chinese but not in English.
we stood there for a minute in happiness, amusement, and pure shock!!!
i think it made my month!

I'm not surprised at all! She has a great ear for music and will probably be able to pick up languages easier than most of us! Good for Abby! Good for Mom exposing her to Chinese!
