My Abby

A few things about Abby today:

She now fake sneezes and loves to get your reaction from it.

Today at dinner, she told me her ice was too cold and that ice should be warmer. .......?

She cries when the sun goes down. She tells me that she misses the sun. She demanded that the sun stay up today, I told her I wish I could keep the sun up, but the sun must always set. (She should move to Grandma's house in Alaska for the summer. The sun will stay up then).

Side note: I related the sun to Jesus and Heavenly Father today during Family Home Evening. I think she actually got it too! I showed her a globe. Pointed out where we were, then used my hand as the sun. I explained why the sun sets (because the earth rotates) and told her that even though we may not see the sun, the sun is always there. And we can always expect it to come tomorrow, just like Jesus and Heavenly father are always there and we can always expect them to be there when we need him. YAY! She's finally getting to that stage where she's cluing in.

And lastly, she can make forts out of her dad's ties... that's just awesome. :)
