my day so far

I need to sit and clear my head... plus this is for those who are wondering...

Our mortgage company, screwed up our loan and didn't work on it for a month, so we're not able to close when we were supposed to. And the stakes of losing the house are high. Pray for us that they get things moving and the loan to go through so that we can move. We have to be out of this house that we're in on the 31st and the estimated date for closing if the seller allows it, is the 10th. So we'll have 10 days where we have to try and find a place to stay with all our food that's in the freezer, and our 2 dogs and 2 cats and 5 kittens.... which is pretty impossible (I'd get rid of the kittens if i could, but they're not old enough yet). If anyone wonders, i would not EVER suggest/use American Mortgage Specialists... (they might be "special" but they're not specialists)

We got a cat neutered and declawed yesterday. They charged me more than they quoted me and they also said they were going to give a military discount and they didn't. They also took my cats bandages off to soon and his paws look worse than the 4 cats I've seen after they've been declawed. The lady I talked to was also rude. I won't be going back to North Buckey Animal Hospital, I was very disappointed, and I let them know that by cancelling my other declaw appointments.

They also told me that the cat would be tired and wouldn't be using the kitty litter much for the next couple of days, nor would he continue to mark his territory as much-- WRONG. So far, I've never seen this cat pee, in the last almost two years we've had him, as much as I have in the last 3 hours and he is NOT tired.

Our other cat insists on keeping her kittens in abby's room under her bed. Because of this I have seen abby carrying around the kittens by the neck (the wrong way like she's choking them... and she is), I have had to take big red gum out of kittens fur, and she put the cat in her cool egg looking chair that spins with her and spun around as fast as she could, making this cat very sick to the stomach.

I kept getting calls to get my visiting teaching done last month and they kept saying that if I need some one to go with, they, supervisors, would come. Well, it turns out my companion was yet again A-wall and the supervisors couldn't come. And I'm trying my best inbetween abby and moving and everything else to do this and... everyone else around me is un-willing or too busy. It's frustrating when you're the one trying to do the right thing.

And I've given up cleaning, every time I try and clean abby messes it up again.

Oh and the weirdest thing! I keep getting calls from an inmate in the maricopa county #4 jail. I can't quite understand who it is he says his name when they ask if i will accept the collect call-- which i don't, because 1 have to pay for it and 2 i don't know any one down here that talks like that or would be in jail.

And I woke up to our back yard flooded!! --which is bad! but hopefully it'll make our grass grow better!;)

On the bright side, we went to our new ward last sunday and we were very impressed. A lot of people came up to us out of their comfort zone to talk and we're going to be the 3rd LDS family on our street. One of the LDS families saw us at the house as they drove past to go home from church and stopped and talked to us. The prospective ward was more friendly and helping than the ward we are actually in! So we're excited

Anyway, keep us in your prayers that we'll be able to get into the house. And that we'll find a place to stay for the next two weeks!!
